Dwell was founded in November 2003 by Aamir who had a vision to provide unique and contemporary furniture designs at great value prices. Over the past 4 years dwell has grown into a strong multi channel retailer with a significant online presence and seven stores (South & North London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Trafford and Cheltenham). Aamir designs and develops 90% of dwell products himself.   As the well-known face of British interior design, John did his initial Design training in Glasgow and began his professional career in London as part of a creative team concentrating on retail and leisure design. He then diversified into Film and Television Production design before adding 'Home' interiors to his specialist range and his design portfolio and on screen work.   Linda Parker is a freelance interiors writer, who writes for many of the best-selling home interest magazines. She currently contributes to Country Homes & Interiors, Homes & Gardens, Beautiful Kitchens, Period Living and Ideal Home.

Heather's job as Interiors Editor there means getting to see inside lots of stunning houses on her search for the best homes and makeovers to feature in Ideal Home.   Barbara Chandler has worked as a specialist writer in the home field for over 30 years, and is the author of several books, including Flat Broke (for people in flats with no money) and Where to Get the Look, a guide to shopping in London published in conjunction with the Evening Standard. She has been a design feature writer for Homes & Property since it started, writing virtually every week. Her particular passion is design and technology. People tear out and keep her H&P "Low Down" in-depth reports on anything from windows to washing machines, from rugs to radiators.
